Swarmm's most well-known event, The Shamrock Shuffle, is undoubtedly Milwaukee’s Largest St. Patrick’s Celebration bringing in over 12,000 people to 5 areas of Milwaukee each March. Swarmm organizes some delicious food festivals including Milwaukee Taco Fest, Milwaukee WingFest and Milwaukee BBQ Fest & Milwaukee Coffee and Donut Fest. The 7th Annual Milwaukee Taco Fest occurred at Henry Maier Festival grounds and 10,793 tacos were eaten last year this past August. Milwaukee WingFest takes place at the Expo Center at Wisconsin State Fair and attendees consumed 36,686 chicken wings the last year it was held in 2019. Swarmm Events also organizes Milwaukee Oktoberfest with Kegel's Inn at the War Memorial Center. A 3-day festival full of live German music, Live entertainment and contests, German food by Kegel's Inn and of course German beer. Every December, Swarmm Events organizes the 12 Bars of Christmas, a "drink-for-a-good-cause" event benefiting Toys for Tots. |
OUR MISSION |
The goal of Swarmm Events is to continue to expand on events in the Milwaukee market and help create more cultural events for young professionals and millennials to attend, while constantly making sure that we are giving back to our community. Swarmm Events owner Michael Sampson has raised over $150,000 for local charities since 2011, and continues to make charity and giving back to the community one of Swarmm's main goals as a company.

MICHAEL SAMPSONOWNER
Michael Sampson graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater in 2006 with a degree in Political Science. Upon graduation he came to a path, one which led to law school and the other to head to Los Angeles and try his hand in the talent agency world. Michael headed to LA and was hired by William Morris Endeavor Agency in Beverly Hills. He worked in the reality TV department before getting a job offer to work in production on the show "Sport Science". In 2008 when the economy tanked he headed back to his home state of Wisconsin and moved to Milwaukee. He began promoting theme nights for local bars and restaurants and realized he enjoyed getting people together socially. He created Michael Sampson Events, which soon created the Shamrock Shuffle and Das Boot Pub crawls in 2010. 3 years later while sitting at a bar with a friend, Michael created Swarmm Events. His company and its attendees has now given back over $150,000 to local Milwaukee charities since 2011. He lives in the Riverwest neighborhood in Milwaukee with his wife Kristin and their feisty chihuahua Clifford. |
